The Taskers escape the clutches of the vile villains, but find out the terrorists have also captured their daughter named Dana Tasker. In a thrilling conclusion set in Miami, Florida in the United States, Harry Tasker rescues his daughter by flying a Harrier jet to defeat the bad guys before they can detonate a nuclear device in Miami.

Terminator 2 - Judgment Day (1991)

Plot Summary Spoilers: The nefarious machine immortals from the future Earth send an advanced cybernetic humanoid called the T-1000 model in a time machine to the Earth's past in order to change the future where the Human resistance is winning the war against the machines. The plan is for the T-1000 to kill the leader of the Human resistance named John Connor when he is just a young kid. To protect their leader by utilizing the evil machine's own time travel technology, the Human resistance sends back their own Terminator, who is much less advanced than than the T-1000, to save John Connor from being killed. John Connor and the original Terminator free John's mother named Sarah Conner from an insane asylum.

The heroes then target the person in charge of developing the Terminator technology, which was discovered from the Terminator that Sarah Connor destroyed at the end of the first Terminator movie. This person targeted by the heroes lives in their present day. The heroes manage to destroy all the research being invested in developing the Terminator technology, which eventually becomes SkyNet, which is the machine intelligence that initiates a thermonuclear war which destroys most of the Humans on Earth. The T-1000 pursues the heroes for the entire film. It ends with the T-1000 being melted in a molten metal tank. The original Terminator, being the last remaining technology of the machines, elects to sacrifice himself in the same molten metal tank in order to complete his mission of protecting John Connor and the future of Humanity by making certain the Terminator technology is never created by Humans.

Plot Summary Spoilers: In the year 2029, the machine immortals control the Earth. However, the Human resistance led by John Connor is nearing victory against the machines. By utilizing time traveling technology, the machines send a cyborg humanoid called the Terminator back in time to before John Connor was born in order to kill John's mother named Sarah Conner in order to prevent John from being born. The Human resistance manages to send back a Human resistance fighter named Kyle Reese with the same time traveling means created by the machine eternals.

Kyle's mission is to save Sarah Connor from the cyborg monster. Kyle finds Sarah and they spend most of the movie running from the Terminator. Eventually Kyle and Sarah fall in love and become romantically involved with each other. Their union creates the conception of John Connor. The Terminator manages to kill Kyle, but Sarah destroys the Terminator by smashing it flat in a mechanical machine, irony indeed.
